Mapping territory rehearsal 

A map of smells. A map of textures. A map of sounds. What if we had other maps that would allows us to interpret or approach reality? Mapping territory rehearsal consists of a performative event developed and produced in Can Serrat during the artist Residency of the artist in the August of 2022. The goal was for the participants, having as starting point the fig tree, that its located in the garden's house, was to go blindfolded to the communal table. Using their other senses besides their vision, the performative event becomes a tactile and haptic experience where each participant creates their own course , their own map of the territory for where they cross, until they reach the communal table, the location of sharing their own experience of the action with the rest of the performers.
