Paper Plane Letters
2019-
Daydream letters accumulate in that corner. Little is known about their travels. Letters of lost and scattered confessions, written and invisible to the naked eye are thrown to their destiny, to the air and to the skies. Thoughts are recorded on those white sheets with everything written, but with nothing to be read. Words written, but invisible to the naked eye… they are there, hidden, indecipherable…but unreadable to the other. (notes on the writing of the action)
Having as background the various travels made by the performer during the winter semester of 2019/20, Paper Plane Letters consists of the accumulation and repetition of a performative action made on each of those trips. In each city he visited, a letter, which in turn was transformed into a paper plane, was written and made. The action involves it's launch having as it's destiny Portugal, to the balcony of the performer's house.
