Quando a Luz não se quer apagar...

2017-18

A figure takes shape and enters the scene. Predisposed to play a role in a story that simultaneously exists and does not exist, without beginning or end. With her face and body covered, is the figure absent or present?

With these series of works, the multiplicity and the fragmentation of the “self” appears associated with the Uncanny and with reasons connected to it´s universe that are worked and reworked in narratives and actions in search of some elucidating phenomenon. Where are these figures, who are they and what role are they playing? Are they the author or the reflection of the self, it´s doubts and indecisions?
